MaptoACAD command does not work in Civil 3D 2012
On the Ribbon (Planning and Analysis) Output Tab\Save Current Map to AutoCAD
According to Autodesk this is a known issue. The plan is to correct this in the next release. You may see this in the Update, SAP or into 2013.
Although there is no direct replacement for this command you may try using the following work-around:
Try using the MAPEXPORTCURRENTMAPTODWG command, this is similar but not the same as the MaptoACAD command.
MAPEXPORTCURRENTMAPTODWG breaks everything down to base AutoCAD Objects.
