Sack Lunches | ProSoft Helping Hands (March)

As a team, our goal is to participate in a community service project at least once a month. For March, we gathered food for and assembled sack lunches for the Provo Food & Care Coalition. The Food & Care Coalition provides services to low-income/homeless families and individuals, including food, transitional housing, education, etc. On top of that, they help provide sack lunches to coalition clients who need a nutritional lunch for the work day.

We were glad to be able to take on the task for one weekend.

Our team divided the items needed for the lunches and each brought something.

We made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and packed them with other items like vegetables, fruits, chips, mini pies and water.

Then we brought them to the Food & Care Coalition building to be handed out the next day. This project was a lot of fun for us! We've been doing some outdoor service projects lately, so this was a nice chance to stay out of the cold.
